I can smell two things this morning and it’s not my feet. I can smell the milestone of 100 completed paintings.  I’m only 17 paintings away from reaching it.   I can also smell $10,000 raised for the cause, which I will reach when I collect another $2,575.  That’s a huge motivation for me right now.

Ever since I started this campaign, I’ve been focusing on not falling behind more than ten pieces.  With the crazy life I have that includes my family commitments, a full time job, my regular painting business and everything else that just pops up it would be easy to fall behind.  Last night, I went into my studio at 10:30 to complete a painting because if I didn’t, today I would have been 11 paintings behind in the schedule.  That many behind just wouldn’t be acceptable.
